Hello Beautiful Friend! I’m CJ McDonald, and I’m on a mission to empower you to Dare to DREAM God-sized dreams, BUILD those dreams on a solid foundation, and absolutely LOVE your life.
Think back to when you were a little girl for just a minute. Were there activities that made your heart sing with joy and burst with love? Did you have friends you’d laugh with until your bellies ached? Did you feel pure bliss experiencing simple pleasures like the sun warming your face, or the breeze blowing through your hair?
So what’s shifted? What’s different now? Do you still feel that same light, bubbly energy each and every day? Do you look forward to your work and the interactions you’ll have with your colleagues? Are you supported in a healthy, vibrant, romantic relationship? Do you have a strong bond with your kids? Do you feel healthy and sexy? Do you look forward to a future full of opportunities and successes?
If you answered “No,” to any of the above questions, I get you! Just a few short years ago, I would’ve answered “No” to most of them myself. My second marriage was hanging on by a thread, and I felt like I was working myself into an early grave. All the looooonnngg hours at the office meant random take-out and not enough sleep, which resulted in a body I felt uncomfortable in and borderline-ashamed-of. Things seemed pretty bleak.
I was trapped in a societal prison. I’d tried so hard to make myself into the person “everyone else” wanted me to be that I’d totally neglected the person I was created to be.
Can you relate? Are you listening the voices outside of yourself and trying to fit into their expectation of what your life should be like? Are you letting your peers, authority figures, family or even “friends” speak negativity or discouragement into your life? Are people telling you that “you can’t do that” when you dare to trust them with your vision?
There are so many nay-sayers in the world! Their voices start out soft in our young minds, but then they grow louder and louder as the weight of various adult responsibilities continues to pile on our shoulders.
If you’ve lost your connection to your true values, goals, dreams, and vision, it’s not your fault! We have to fight HARD to hang onto these in our modern society. But you DO have a choice! And so do I!
I decided that self-doubt was my nemesis, and like any opponent, it must be soundly defeated!
And with that one decision, everything shifted! I began to trust myself to make the choices that were best for me and for my family. I became willing to take more risks with my career so that I could find work I truly loved. I began coaching so that I could motivate, inspire, and equip other women to find the same freedom I’ve found my choosing myself, each and every day!
I’ve always had a gift for seeing the BEST in others before they can even see it in themselves. Now, I’ve made sharing that gift into my career, and beautiful stories are unfolding before me every day!
I lost 45 pounds, regained my confidence, and turned my marriage back from the brink of divorce! Now, I’m living in my dream home in the Virginia countryside, surrounded by dogs, horses, chickens, and lots and lots of land.
I want to see YOU live your dream, too. And there are concrete steps you can take to make that happen.
